  1. Try to find the 1960s movie “Time is Tight” with that glorious soundtrack by instrumental soul music group Booker T & the MGs. It’s totally worth the effort it takes to find it.

    Also, as you have been talking Werner Herzog, the soundtrack to his “Grizzly Man” by guitarist Richard Thompson works very well as a standalone music album, too.

    “Buena Vista Social Club” is a very enjoyable music documentary movie but from the albums recorded around that time by these guys, most of the songs that I prefer didn’t even make it into the movie.
